This pull request contains a backport of [JDK-8300490](https://bugs.openjdk.org/browse/JDK-8300490), commit [48d52594](https://github.com/openjdk/jdk17u-dev/commit/48d525946da6c34383c674a73961d6a46acb3fd6) from the [openjdk/jdk17u-dev](https://git.openjdk.org/jdk17u-dev) repository.

The commit being backported was authored by Christoph Langer on 20 Jan 2023 and had no reviewers.

This is a follow-up fix after the backport of [JDK-8293550](https://bugs.openjdk.org/browse/JDK-8293550).
