[jdk21u] RFR: 8309475: Test java/foreign/TestByteBuffer.java fails: a problem with msync (aix)

Hi all,

This pull request contains a backport of commit [fdac6a6a](https://github.com/openjdk/jdk/commit/fdac6a6ac871366614efe44aca58ab520766b5c8) from the [openjdk/jdk](https://git.openjdk.org/jdk) repository. It fixes TestByteBuffer.java, and depends on changes the backported by #77.

The commit being backported was authored by Tyler Steele on 18 Aug 2023 and was reviewed by Christoph Langer and Thomas Stuefe.
