Inactive JDK Updates repositories are marked as archived on GitHub, see
https://github.com/orgs/openjdk/repositories?page=3&type=all for an example.

There is typically no specific EOL announcement for an OpenJDK update
release series as such, since once one set of maintainers steps down,
another set may or may not step up. It's not necessarily predictable
ahead of time, due to the nature of open source development.
