Hi @GoeLin , This PR merge will cause a known issue in the Alpine environment to fail to compile. My original plan was to backport JDK-8342145 to jdk21u-dev immediately after this PR merge.

Should I combine [JDK-8341881](https://bugs.openjdk.org/browse/JDK-8341881) and [JDK-8342145](https://bugs.openjdk.org/browse/JDK-8342145) together in this PR?
