Hi all,

This pull request contains a backport of commit [42eb6847](https://github.com/openjdk/jdk11u-ri/commit/42eb684707287a41a9922519de6b08aff1d83eae) from the [openjdk/jdk11u-ri](https://git.openjdk.org/jdk11u-ri) repository.

It does not apply cleanly. There is a minor merge conflict, including copyright years and unrelated code differences.

The commit being backported was authored by Alexander Zvegintsev on 8 May 2024 and was reviewed by Phil Race, Iris Clark and Andrew John Hughes.
