Hi Christoph,

So we recently ran into a few last minute scrambles due to changes coming into an update release later on in the cycle. We won't be changing the timetable for 23.0.1 at this point, but we will continue to keep an eye on things.

Although the door is closing early for regular fixes bear in mind you can always request critical approval (https://wiki.openjdk.org/display/JDKUpdates/JDK+23u) if necessary. (and of course, the repo will be accepting changes for 23.0.2 from the RDP2 date on)

Hi Rob,

thanks for the hint.

23rd of July seems very early for October fixes. I would rather expect something more close to the end of August. For OpenJDK updates we also start the ramp down only then. So, can't this date (and future ones to come) not be moved further along?

Best regards
Christoph
