Subject: CFV: New JDK Updates Committer - Amit Kumar
Hi,

I hereby nominate Amit Kumar [1] for the role of JDK Updates Project Committer.
Amit works for IBM, is a JDK Committer and has taken responsibility for the s390 port. He’s contributing to the jdk-updates projects focusing on s390 [5].
