This pull request contains a backport of commit [d4d1fbc2](https://github.com/openjdk/jdk/commit/d4d1fbc27a2382d8d9545b7bf672cdcc81654404) from the [openjdk/jdk](https://git.openjdk.org/jdk) repository.

This PR depends on https://github.com/openjdk/jdk17u-dev/pull/3992, so the target would be changed from pr/3992 to master once pr/3992 is approved and merged.
