[jdk21u-dev] RFR: 8320859: gtest high malloc footprint caused by BufferNodeAllocator stress test

Clean backport. Reduces memory usage of gtest BufferNodeAllocatorTest.stress_free_list_allocator_vm. GHA passes. Affected gtest passes.
