Cool, let's wait for maintainer approval. I would probably amend the approval request with more discussion, like below, assuming it is accurate:

"/approval request Fixes the build error with SVE on AArch64 in debug configurations. Pre-requisite for JDK-8364184 backport that fixes JDK 25 regression. Risk is low: debug build only change, was in mainline for a few weeks without bugtail."

You can just re-issue this command and bots would update the request.
