We have been working with jdk10/master-derived repo for some time now, and it seems like a breeze.
The single repository does simplify lots of logistic things, thank you! The only known problem is
that pulling the repo to Europe now takes a while, but that can be mitigated by local mirrors, or
even just the tarballs, like at: https://builds.shipilev.net/workspaces/

Is there an ETA when Sandbox is going to be monorepo-ed? There are at least two instances of JEP
work that would enjoy pulls and rebases to up-to-date jdk10 mainline.
