I'm sure that the SCCS keyword expansion headache-to-benefit
ratio is at least 10:1.

One big benefit of mercurialization is that this problem will evaporate.
Make sure you import the non-keyword-expanded version of every file.
But y'all probably all already know this from jdk7 mercurialization experience.
