Hello.

I started taking a look at these patches, but ran into some of the API 
issues discussed on the IcedTea alias:
http://mail.openjdk.java.net/pipermail/distro-pkg-dev/2011-January/011741.html

I'll defer making a decision on these patches until the results of that 
investigation are in.
