As we announced as FOSDEM 2011 [3], security patches from Oracle for 
OpenJDK 6 will continue through the "EOL" of Java SE 6 as defined by the 
"End of Public Updates" date, which for Java SE 6 is February 2013.  
Therefore, OpenJDK 6 will get one more round of security updates and 
then be wound down.

Long live JDK 7!
