[jdk7-dev] On the build dependency upon gtk+

Hi,

With my company, we use a source-based linux distribution, and since we are
using Java, we need to build the jdk.
Currently, in order to be able to build the jdk, gtk+-2 and cups need to be
installed.
I think it wouldn't be so hard to make them optional, since not everybody
using java needs printing functionnalities nor swing.

What are your thoughts on that ?
