There hasn't been a 7u release since the 28th of August, 2012:

2.3.12 is synced with the last u25 tag in the OpenJDK repositories but clearly
this doesn't include whatever fix is required either.
There is a 2.4.1 release of IcedTea which is tracking u40 development, but that
still hasn't been officially released yet.
