Getting started

Welcome.

I'll be sending out a set of draft proposals for repository layout, code review, ground rules,
and other fine things mentioned in the Project's draft Q&A soon. They are drafts, so your 
feedback is very welcome to turn them into something that works well.

I'd like to allocate time for feedback on them until Sunday, so that we can have them agreed upon 
and published on the Project's website and can start accepting fixes into the always open mainline 
jdk7u repository soon after that.

While I am the Moderator of this OpenJDK Project (which under the Bylaws should translate into 
the Project Lead role), the Technical Lead for the Project is Edvard Wendelin (CC:ed). I'll let
Edvard introduce himself, and I'll start sending out the drafts for discussion.
