Edvard explained how the different forests work here:
http://mail.openjdk.java.net/pipermail/jdk7u-dev/2012-February/001971.html

-> CPUs get merged into jdk7u.

I'd suggest just grabbing the tip - we're about to create a stabilization forest for 7u4
http://mail.openjdk.java.net/pipermail/jdk7u-dev/2012-February/001917.html so you should
track that instead, when it appears.

One way to visualize the 7u development forests is to think of a cactus with a couple of
arms on a hot day in the desert. As the trunk grows, which here corresponds to jdk7u-dev & jdk7u
forests, where jdk7u is the less thorny side of jdk7u-dev. Every now and then a new arm pops out
(the stabilization forests for a release). So jdk7u is up til now where 7u4 lives - as soon
as another arm pops out for 7u4, it will live in its own forest to stabilize, while the trunk
continues to grow at its usual pace towards 7u6.
