This is a request from the NLS team to backport a JDK 8 fix into JDK 7u6:

7024963 - Notepad demo: remove non-translatable resources from 
Notepad.properties file

The fix has already been pushed to JDK 8, as:

The code changes for jdk7u4 are identical to the ones in jdk8.
