This is a new fix for 7u, it is not a back-port. We want to develop a 
better solution for JDK 8 (a SubCR is already filed) that will resolve 
the root cause of the issue. But since the solution is risky and 
requires a lot more work to do, we want to integrate this workaround 
solution in 7u-dev for now.

The fix has been tested with Netbeans 7.2 by Dev and SQE engineers, and 
proves to work fine.
