It would be good that you could update the CR with a full trace file.
Anyway, here are a few questions to start the investigation:

Does the error happen consistently or randomly?
At the time of the error, do you have multiple applet instances running 
in the same JVM (having single java-console opened)?
Is there an existing a setup so that we could reproduce and debug the 
error directly?
