[7u-communication] Oracle's plans to contribute to JDK 7u Project in OpenJDK after Java SE 7 End of Public Updates

Hi,

Oracle has updated the Oracle Java SE Support Roadmap with a Java SE 7
End of Public Updates Notice. [0]

In line with prior communication [1] to this mailing list, Oracle
doesn't plan to contribute further changes to this OpenJDK Project once
updates of Java SE 7 are no longer being posted to its public download
site. That makes JDK 7u80 the last planned Oracle-led JDK 7u release to
be developed within this OpenJDK Project.

Users of OpenJDK builds based on this Project should consider upgrading
to OpenJDK 8, or, of course, to Oracle JDK 8, depending on their
requirements.
