[7u80] Request for approval for bulk integration of hs24.80-b01

Approved pending positive test results. I believe Rob will take on the 
duty of bringing the fixes into the 7u60 stabilization forest.

Please note that the critical request and critical approved labels must 
go on the master bug record in JIRA (type = bug). It's irrespective of 
the fixVersion to which the master bug corresponds to. I'll fix these up 
now.
