Can you elaborate? It seems to me like everyone who used the OpenJDK6
bug tracker was already an OpenJDK committer.

Yes, I am wondering more about the longer term ways to improve things. I
agree that in the short term getting updates out to users is more
important. But I don't want us to simply repeat what we did for JDK 6
when JDK 8 rolls around too.
