Hi,

I'd like to request an approval for the backport of "8211435 - Exception
in thread "AWT-EventQueue-1" java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: null
source" [1] to jdk7u.

We need this patch in jdk7u because I'm planning to backport 8204142 bug
fix [2] to jdk7u and it may expose the bug fixed by 8211435.

Risk introduced is very low. Backport was trivial. Patch applies almost
cleanly; I just enabled the test for all platforms and replaced the
usage of lambda functions (unsupported in jdk7u).
