Our plan for running the OpenJDK 7u project is to continue to provide security updates and backport fixes where applicable and integrate them into the OpenJDK 7u source tree in a timely manner. We will also confirm that any fixes integrated into OpenJDK 7u are in conformance with the relevant specifications using the JCK. We will ensure that we respond promptly to any questions posted on the jdk7u-dev mailing list. I would like to nominate myself to the role of project lead of the OpenJDK 7u project.
