There is already of version of ASM in the JDK (at least jsr292 
implementation uses it)
see com.sun.xml.internal.ws.org.objectweb.asm and given the name of the 
package,
I suppose ASM is also used in the webservice stack.

I also think that ASM is used by Xalan.
