class.verifyerror while executing java application

Hi

I am getting some class.verifyerror in stack map attribute while executing java 8 application. If I use same class (of java 6) with same constant pool, bytecode and attributes then everything works fine. It seems that some more checks are introduced after Java 6 while loading of class. Can you tell me where I can find those changes?
