Hi,

Now that JDK 8u5 became available the Java Control Panel from 1.8.0 still reported that it is unable to check for updates.

So I upgraded manually to 1.8.0_05-b13 and checked the situation again. After the upgrade it told me "Your system has the recommended version of Java." thus to me it looks like the bug was fixed and could be closed.
