[8u40] IMPORTANT INFO: Please do not push any changeset to jdk8u/hs-dev until further notice

Hotspot developers:

I just took the last snapshot of jdk8u/hs-dev [1] before 8u40 enters the 
RDP2 phase.
that repository will become associated to 8u60 next week, after 8u40-b19 
is promoted.
Until then  please refrain from pushing any changes to it. I will reply 
this email
when that happens

Going forward,
Hotspot changes destined for 8u40 will need to be approved by the 
releasing team (see [2] for details).
Once approved, they should be pushed to jdk8u/hs-dev as usual, and then 
I will
take all 8u40 approved changes from there to the jdk8u40 stabilization 
repo (see [3])
after going through PIT (if needed).
