[8u-dev] Request for approval: 8042804: Support invoking Hotspot tests from top level

This was all pushed into the hotspot forest for JDK 9 Mikael. Do you 
want to
do the same for 8u and use http://hg.openjdk.java.net/jdk8u/hs-dev/ ?

No need for approval there if so.
