This change is causing problems in jdk9/dev, would it be possible to 
hold off pushing to 8u until the issues there are understood? It's very 
possible of course that the issues in jdk9/dev are unique to that forest 
(because of the new modular image, changes to javac to use the new file 
system API, etc.).
