Are you planning to fix this in JDK 9 first ?

It looks like you can mark the bug with a testbug label also. Do you 
have a link to the public code review thread ? If you're planning on 
pushing this into the hotspot team forest[1], you don't need an 
approval. Alejandro will handle that detail when a bulk push approval 
request is submitted.
