JDK-8151624 (and dupes JDK-8152827 and JDK-8150510) - Web Start CertificateException: Could not verify signing in resource ...

Hi,

I have a question regarding JDK-8151624. We are affected by this bug but cannot access the 
information in the issue since it seems to be non-public. It is mentioned on issues JDK-8152827 and 
JDK-8150510 but these issues do not have information on when this issue is going to be fixed.
All we know is that the bug is not present on JDK9-111ea. On JDK9-113ea our Webstart application 
does not start at all but seems to be another issue.

Can someone with insight into JDK-8151624 please tell me if this issue is going to be fixed on JDK8?
