Hi,

I'd like approval for a JDK 8 backport of 8141445: Use of Solaris/SPARC 
M7 libadimalloc.so can generate unknown signal in hs_err file

The source part of the JDK 9 changeset applies cleanly (os_posix changes).
The rest of the JDK 9 changeset are tests that have already been added 
separately to VM testbase v8, so they are not needed in this backport.
