[8u-dev] Request for approval to backport: 8146192: Add test for JDK-8049321

Hi all!

Would you please approve the backport of this fix, which augments the 
fix for 8049321 by adding a regression test?
With the fix for 8049321, the added test passes on all tested platforms.
