Source directory path aside, the 8 and 9 content of the files were
identical *before* the update and will again be identical *after* both 
are updated,
as in "diff"ing them will produce an empty result.

JPRT has been used to verify this builds on all 8u platforms supported 
by JPRT.

Process for 3rd party approvals is ongoing but completely routine and
should be smooth.
