Sorry to jump in but would it be possible hold off pushing this to JDK 9 
for the moment. There are some issue showing up with jdk-9+116 related 
to XML parsing and this is the only JAXP change in that build.  The 
issue (not in JIRA yet) may be nothing to do with 8153781 of course.
