I had to split the original change into the JAXP part and a change for the test. Here are the webrevs:

If the source code is identical to JDK 9, a review won't be necessary. Putting the testcase into the jdk repo is the correct step.

Approved for jdk8u-dev. I'll run this patch via our build and test system and push if results are good.

False alarm, it seems this issue is caused by something else that changed and tested with the same build. Apologies for delaying you.
