Requesting backport of JDK-8022291 to 8u

Hiya,

Fix here:

The cited bug results in an ugly error message being printed to the console when Mac OS X java 8 is used in conjunction with some kinds of agent. It isn't serious but does make Java and our software look less professional. A backport to JDK8 would be much appreciated.
