RFA: 8u backports 8039412 and 8067059

Hi,

These two fixes which affect the Page Setup printing dialog on Linux are 
needed
to make it easier to backport an additional critical fix for FX printing 
(coming afterwards),
however these fixes are warranted on their own, and should have been 
backported already

Both backported cleanly without changes (other than reshuffled paths as 
usual)
