Request for Approval: Backport of JDK-8188030: AWT java apps fail to start when some minimal fonts are present

Hi all,

I would like to backport the fix for:

To OpenJDK8 updates dev:

The fix is slightly different than the fix for 10 [1] since we want to
preserve the status for the Oracle build that I'm told does not
support the CFF fonts in 8:

I apologise for continually asking this, I promise I'll write this
down this time, but I don't remember what's the next step after that,
just push the fix after approval with the same bug id, right?
