Request for Approval: Backport of JDK-8174050: Compilation errors with clang-7.0

Hi all,

I would like to backport the fix for:
https://bugs.openjdk.java.net/browse/JDK-8174050

To OpenJDK8 updates dev:

The fix is mostly the same as the version that was committed in 10 
except that there is no RangeCheckNode class in JDK8, so I just remove 
it, here is the patch:
