I would kindly suggest reading the site in question, prior to replying
back based on some assumption of its content. ;)
https://jdk.java.net/archive/ includes both the archived Oracle OpenJDK
9.0.1 and 9.0.4 update releases as well as a clear warning message on
top saying that
"WARNING: These older versions of the JDK are provided to help
developers debug issues in older systems. They are not updated with the
latest security patches and are not recommended for use in production."
with the last sentence colorfully distinguished from the rest of the
paragraph.
Why someone would ask for OpenJDK 9 at this time, I can't really tell,
but I believe it's perfectly fine to point them to where they can
download it with appropriate warnings attached.
