Hi Andrew,

This patch was only tested on linux/x86_64, and has not been tested on bsd, windows or mac. The non-(linux/x86-64) platform lacks some platform-dependent functions. That is what Ao Qi mentioned in the previous message.

To clarify; do you mean you've only tested on Linux & x86_64? Or are
you referring
only to non-Linux platforms (*BSD, Windows, Mac, Solaris)?
