I agree.  The whole point of keeping separate repos is that jdk8u ("the
master") never regresses, yet is also fairly up to date.

jdk8u-dev is always open for developer changes, but may occasionally
regress.  It's one of the maintainers' jobs to ensure that such breakage
doesn't make it into jdk8u (it's never-ever-broken), and that jdk8u-dev
returns to health promptly.
