Hm, for these bugs, the author field looks fine in the Oracle downports, at least in the public ones that we can see. JDK-8027434 is authored by mchinnathamb and JDK-8027434 by serb. The users that submitted the backports are different though, which is fine. Maybe you're confusing these?
