[8u] RFA: 8216058: [TESTBUG] tools/launcher/VersionCheck.java fails after JDK-8215992

Hi,

Please approve this test fix for 8u, which I've broken with the recent
push of JDK-8215992. This is an openjdk8u-only patch. The 8u patch has
been reviewed by Andrew Hughes and Andrew Haley:
