Hi,
I would like to remind everybody who is working on OpenJDK 8 updates
that rampdown of 8u222 starts next Wednesday, June 5th (a week later
than originally advertised).
At that point in time, the jdk8u-dev will be declared frozen. Please
push all changes you want to get to 8u222 before that date.
The jdk8u-dev will be opened for commits shortly after this, once the
bug system is updated to use 8u232 for commits and the jdk8u232-b00 tag
is added.
Please keep an eye on this mailing list for announcements regarding the
status of jdk8u-dev.
During the rampdown phase, critical changes for OpenJDK 8 updates may be
requested with the label jdk8u-critical-request. Such requests should be
limited to regressions and other blocking issues. Other fixes should be
committed to jdk8u-dev to form part of 8u232.
Thanks,
--
Andrew :)
