Yes, I'm aware of that.
But how many people have actually had two bugs to deal with in
practice?
I can't recall seeing backport bugs created in this way ahead
of time by anyone outside Oracle. So having two bugs at all
is going to be new to most people.
I'll cc jdk-updates-dev at openjdk.java.net for more input.
